ABOUT THE COLLECTION:
Edith Mary Baldwin
The Edith Mary Baldwin Collection is inspired by a framed baptismal certificate, dated 1909, found by Jessica at Portobello Market, behind which was concealed a black and white photograph of its child subject, Edith Mary Baldwin. Jessica used both documents to research Edith, and to source further certificates, census reports and photographs.
Edith’s garden was her favourite place on earth, and presented the ideal haven to which to escape from her younger siblings. Compass in one hand, toy aircraft in the other, and with a quick kiss from her mother, Edith would set out with the intention of becoming wonderfully lost.
The heart of the garden—and its most beautiful part—concealed a covert wooden door, surrounded by a sea of old French shrub roses. Excitedly, Edith would peep through the decorative fleur-de-lis shaped lock, her eyes sparkling with excitement...
With each and every piece in this collection, you are provided with the photograph of Edith in her garden. Use the elements incorporated within the collection and the photograph to create your own narrative for Edith. Look closely, observe and become the inquisitive child within.

NECKLACE CHAIN LENGTHS: 18”, 22” and 26”
The pendant moves freely along the chain and an additional jump ring is provided 3 inches from the end, to shorten, if necessary. All necklaces have the signature JdL fob at the back.
FINISH:
All hallmarked 925 sterling silver and plated with a high quality, 18ct rose or yellow gold with a silver combination polish. Alternatively, the jewellery can be oxidised with a silver combination polish or simply remain as polished silver.
